Every BodyNeeds It
Fish Diet (Omega-3) vs. Western Diet (Omega-6)
We’re simply getting too much Omega-6 and not enough Omega-3 - especially Omega-3 EPA/DHA from fish.
The science: Omega-6s, like Omega-3s, are polyunsaturated fatty acids - good fats that we need to eat to keep our bodies healthy. But we need a proper balance.
The solution: for optimal maintenance of your health, eat oily fish at least twice a week (see our fish chart). If you can’t get or don’t like fish, you can take purified fish oil supplements (Omega-3 EPA/DHA) and look for Omega-3 EPA/DHA-enriched foods at your grocery store.
